Paolo is the driving force behind Credit-Vision. Under his leadership the Company has rapidly grown into an award-winning FinTech start-up partnering with major technology and financial firms, as well as receiving the backing of the UK Government's digital innovation department (InnovateUK).
Paolo founded Credit-Vision following a decade working in leveraged finance at various leading banks where he appreciated the fundamental role of data accessibility and accuracy in the private credit markets as well as the potential for financial data platforms to substantially improve market efficiency.
Paolo studied finance at the University of Bologna, where he is also a regular guest speaker, and the University of Pennsylvania/Wharton. He holds Chartered Accountant and Auditor qualifications and he often features in various specialist financial and technology media outlets.
Evan has designed and built the original version of the Credit-Vision platform from the ground up and together with our senior technology advisor Ignacio Ybarra he is leading our technology development.
Evan is a specialist in the design, implementation and delivery of large-scale projects. A member of MRC eMedlab, he and his team have been developing a shared computer cluster harnessing UK clinical and genomics data meant to underpin future medical research on rare diseases. He was also the Leading Software Engineer for re-factoring NIESR's (National Institute of Economic and Social Research) global econometric model software NIGEM, a data analysis software used by major global institutions including the IMF, OECD, BoE and ECB.
Evan holds a PhD in Computer Science from University College London, a Msc Degree from the University of Amsterdam and a Bsc/Msc degree from the Technical University of Athens.
Edith joined Credit-Vision as Vice President of Market Coverage from Bloomberg where she reported on European leveraged buyouts and corporate credit. Prior to joining Bloomberg she cut her teeth writing scoops and features on the credit world for Debtwire Europe, part of Acuris Group, where she served as a senior leveraged loan reporter.
Edith obtained a Legal Practice Course Certificate from The University of Law after completing an LLB Laws degree.
Frédéric joined Credit-Vision from Acuris Group in August 2017 where he was responsible for the operational set-up of their European high yield bond database, named Creditrubric. Frédéric gained deep market knowledge at 3i Debt Management and has more than ten years of experience investing in private equity. Frédéric worked alongside Paolo at Mizuho in London after starting his career at JP Morgan in Paris.
Frédéric is a Chartered Accountant, a CFA Charterholder and a regular contributor to MoneyWeek. He graduated from Edhec Business School.
Stelios has led the onboarding of the initial database to the Credit-Vision platform and he is responsible for its maintenance.
Prior to Credit-Vision, he was a transaction analyst for CLOs and credit funds at Alcentra, one of Europe's leading alternative asset managers.
Stelios is a graduate of CASS Business School, a holder of the Investment Management Certificate (IMC II) and a CFA candidate.
Ignacio designed Credit-Vision Mapping Engine and advises the company on its technology development roadmap. He is a senior software architect and manager with 20 years’ experience of building real-time pricing, risk and trading systems. His career spans across banks, exchanges, financial data vendors, start-ups and large financial institutions including ABN AMRO, London Stock Exchange, HSBC, UBS and others. Ignacio started working at TIBCO (a division of Thomson Reuters) where he implemented financial systems in the UK and Europe. He then led the design and development of ABN AMRO's proprietary market data display platform, which reached a global user base in excess of 1,200 trading desktops.
In the early 2000s, Ignacio co-founded Integra SP and relocated to Austin, TX to develop and roll-out the company's STP solution for clients in the USA. In the past 10 years Ignacio was involved in the architecture and design of high-frequency trading systems at the London Stock Exchange and HSBC. He currently serves as a Director at UBS with responsibility for the bank’s FX Quant Trading Platform.
